Restaurant branding & website design for Fox & Goose Pub
FOX & GOOSE PUBLIC HOUSE CASE STUDY
We partnered with Fox & Goose Public House, a long-standing neighborhood pub and restaurant in Sacramento, to refine and extend its brand across digital and physical experiences, including website design, menus, merchandise, and in-pub materials.
Known for its British-inspired fare, live music, and community atmosphere, Fox & Goose needed a cohesive brand presence that honored its history while improving usability and consistency across customer touchpoints.
We developed a flexible hospitality brand system designed to support daily operations, enhance the guest experience, and create a stronger, more unified presence both online and in person.

The Challenge
Fox & Goose had built a loyal following and strong neighborhood reputation, but its visual and digital presence needed refinement to better reflect the quality and personality of the experience.
The project required:
A modern, easy-to-navigate restaurant website
Cohesive visual identity across menus and materials
A brand system that balanced heritage with clarity
Merchandise and printed items aligned with the brand voice
Improved consistency across all customer touchpoints
The goal was not to reinvent the pub, but to evolve and unify the brand while preserving its warmth and authenticity.
Website Design & Digital Experience
We designed and developed a custom website that reflects the character of Fox & Goose while improving usability for both new and returning guests.
The site balances atmosphere with function, making it easy for visitors to:
View menus
Check hours and location
Explore events and live music
Navigate on mobile devices
Quickly find essential information
The visual design draws from the pub’s established personality while introducing a cleaner structure and more cohesive typography and imagery.
The result is a website that feels welcoming and familiar while delivering a modern, streamlined user experience.
Menu Design & Print Systems
Menus are one of the most frequent touchpoints for any restaurant, so we developed a clear, flexible menu system aligned with the brand’s tone and visual identity.
This included:
Food and drink menu design
Clear typographic hierarchy for readability
Layout systems adaptable to seasonal updates
Printed materials that reflect the pub’s character
The goal was to make menus both highly functional and visually consistent with the broader brand experience.
Merchandise & Brand Expression
We created a range of branded merchandise and graphic applications that extend the Fox & Goose identity beyond the dining experience.
These items reinforce the pub’s personality and provide additional revenue opportunities while strengthening customer loyalty. Designs maintain a balance of heritage and playfulness, ensuring merchandise feels authentic to the space and community.
A Cohesive Hospitality Brand System
Across the website, menus, and merchandise, the focus was on building a unified visual language that could scale and adapt over time.
The system ensures:
Consistency across digital and print
Ease of updates internally
A recognizable brand presence
A seamless guest experience from web to in-pub
By aligning all touchpoints, Fox & Goose now presents a cohesive identity that reflects both its legacy and its future growth.
Outcome
The refreshed brand presence provides a clear, flexible foundation that supports daily operations while enhancing customer experience.
The work delivers:
A modern, user-friendly restaurant website
Cohesive menus and printed materials
Merchandise aligned with brand personality
Stronger visual consistency across touchpoints
A unified hospitality brand system
Together, these elements create a more seamless and memorable experience for both longtime regulars and new visitors.
